Here are some remarks regarding the applet:

• If you are using  Internet Explorer and the applet won't load:
          Please switch off the Microsoft Virtual Machine and install a proper Sun Java JRE from http://java.sun.com.
  If this doesn't help, go and fetch Mozilla Firefox
  
• Best use of the applet with Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/all)
• If you are being asked if you want to execute the applet press YES!!!
• If nothing happens after "Doing trace to xxx", check your firewall if outgoing ICMP is allowed
  if nothing helps: SWITCH OFF FIREWALL
